Chickens. FIVE of them, overnight, in the middle of a huge thunderstorm (apparently cats don't care). Thankfully the goats are fine (and well-protected). My husband actually scared it off early this morning when he went out to do chores. Ironically, it was one of the rare times that he DIDN'T have a gun on him. Which is...aggravating.
We had so many issues with coyotes that we have gone to a fortress type chicken house. Double wire and heavy boards. There are cats, but we don't see them as often.
Uh-oh. I'm guessing you're not talking about the tiny tractor type, either . . .
ReplyDeleteLooks like Jenna's not the only one going to be camped out on the porch with a shotgun this week.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you lose? A kid or chickens?
