This is the first food eaten (by me!) from the fall garden. A simple salad of thinnings...baby collards, kale, chard and pak choi, and one tiny turnip. It was lovely, and it means bigger and better things to come.
Well, as long as I care for it, we should actually be able to eat from it all winter long (at least some things). I have a few things that will peter out, but mostly I've planted frost-tolerant greens and root crops, all of which I can continue planting and harvesting all winter, since frost is mostly all we get here.
how long will you be able to eat from your fall garden?
